Insulated Conservatory Roof Panel Installation

Give your conservatory a new lease of life by replacing old glass or corrugated plastic roofing.

Your conservatory, your space.

Too hot, too cold, too damp? We'll fix it.

Your conservatory can, and should, be one of the most enjoyable rooms in your house.
But many older conservatories have been built without the proper insulation.

The result? Your conservatory will be very cold in the winter, and very hot in the summer. In reality, that means you’re probably only using your conservatory for a few months of the year, perhaps May and June, and September and October.

And because they’re uninsulated, you might be noticing that you see a lot of condensation in your conservatory windows or roof, making it feel quite damp, potentially mouldy – and unpleasant to look at. The expansion and contraction of the components of your conservatory, due to the frequent temperature changes, might also cause leaks. Nobody likes those.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

By replacing your old, uninsulated conservatory roofing with specially designed, insulated roof panels, you’ll transform your conservatory into the contemporary dream room that you’ve always wished you had.

No more leaks, no more damp – and a room that you can use all year round, whether it’s cold, hot or wet outside. You will love it!

What are insulated conservatory roof panels?

Essentially, these are made of uPVC and contain high quality insulation. They’re weather resistant, temperature resistant, UV resistant and humidity resistant.

That means that these panels massively improve your temperature control, and reduce your energy usage (saving you money on heating bills).

So why are insulated panels so great?

Insulated conservatory roof panels are lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. They’re also impact resistant, so when it rains, it’ll be much quieter than other conservatory roofing made from glass or plastic. The difference is phenomenal.

You’ll notice the difference straight away: you’ll be able to host your family for Christmas dinner, and your dogs will be able to lie out there all summer long!

A client of ours commented that after getting insulated roof panels put in, he’d been able to install his home office in his conservatory – which essentially added another room to his house. And he can have his friends over to watch the football out there in peace.

But won't they make my conservatory dark?

One question we get asked often about insulated conservatory roof panels is whether they let enough light in.

The answer is yes! Unlike typical conservatory roofs, which are often see-through (glass) or frosted (plastic), these don’t allow sunlight through. They have a contemporary look and feel, and typically come in white, brown or grey.

That doesn’t mean your conservatory will become a dark place, because the full length windows you already have will still let absolutely loads of light in.

But by removing direct sunlight, and insulating the room against overheating or getting too cold, your conservatory will be an enjoyable place for you and the family all year round.

Are insulated conservatory roofs expensive?

The short answer is no, they’re not expensive when installed by Star Roofs.

Why is that? Because we do the roof from start to finish – from initial enquiry, to the survey, design and installation – and because we have much lower overheads than most other companies, we can offer fantastic prices that you will probably not find elsewhere.

For example, a recent client of ours had been quoted between £11,000 to £15,000 for his conservatory roof replacement. We managed to do the same thing for under £6,000.

The average conservatory roof replacement with Star Roofs might cost around £3,000 to £4,000, depending on its size, of course!

Does that mean that we skimp on quality of product or service? Absolutely not. Our mission is all about giving every single Star Roofs customer the absolute best experience. We want you to have the best quality, and the best value.

This is why time and time again our customers leave us 5 star reviews.
